This free, online Introduction to healthy eating and nutrition course will be available to 250 trainee or practising secondary food teachers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The course, which usually costs £65, has been written and developed by the British Nutrition Foundation and free access has been made possible through funding from AHDB Beef & Lamb, AHDB Pork, HCC Wales and LMC Northern Ireland.

The Introduction to healthy eating and nutrition course:

  • Can be studied at your own pace
  • Is great for your own CPD
  • Supports KS3 and KS4 food studies
  • Supports Guideline 7 of the Food teaching in secondary schools: a  framework of knowledge and skills (PHE 2015).
