This lesson focuses on using pork sausages to make a quick, easy and tasty dish. The recipe can be modified to suit personal preferences and tastes. Supporting activities include a recipe modification challenge where pupils are asked to make modifications to the recipe to meet specific needs. The second activity challenges pupils to create their own sausages using the interactive Sausage Creator on  and then produce a front and back of pack label.  Students are then asked to use a nutritional analysis programme such as Explore food - to produce a front and back of pack label that meets the new EU labelling regulations.  The activities can be used to support the lesson, as homework or self-study.
